Hundreds of items! Unique Gifts! New Merchandise! For more than 25 years, the Street Fair has been a desert cities weekend institution, where locals and visitors alike start their day with an open-air shopping experience second to none. With merchandise and services for any age and any budget, the Street Fair houses more than 300 vendors, arts & crafts, a farmer’s market, live entertainment and refreshment stands. Support College of the Desert Funds raised by the COD Alumni Association memberships and the weekend Street Fair™ provide over $500,000 in student scholarships and financial aid per year and fund many other college programs and projects. The Alumni Association has donated $1 million to College of the Desert for the Alumni Association Academic Enrichment Fund. The Alumni Association has also established a second scholarship endowment fund and has raised over $700,000 for this purpose. In total, the Alumni Association through its Street Fair operation has provided over $8 million in grants, gifts, and scholarships to College of the Desert. With continued state budget cuts, the Alumni Association’s Street Fair continues to fund student programs and projects that COD would be unable to provide otherwise. Your Street Fair patronage enables the Alumni Association to continually support College of the Desert.
Location The Street Fair™ is located on the corner of Monterey Avenue and Magnesia Falls Drive with easy parking off San Pablo Avenue.
Dates and Hours The Street Fair™ is open for business and pleasure every weekend, all year long. Shoppers enjoy a bonus day on both President’s Day and Thanksgiving weekends.
Fall Season (Oct. – May) hours are 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Summer Season (June – Sept) hours are 7 a.m. – noon.
Free Shuttle Service Street Fair™ visitors enjoy complimentary shuttle service to and from all on-campus parking lots that surround the Street Fair. Up to 13 shuttles are in operation at all times.
Multiple Food Vendors Live Entertainment Hundreds of Items for Sale Clothing, Accessories, Outdoor Patio, Art, Furniture, Pottery, Acrylic, Jewelry, Cosmetics, Luggage, Footwear, Leather, Home Décor, Sports Items, Health, Pet Accessories, Crafts, Gourmet Goodies, Unique Gifts, Plants and Flowers, Produce (winter months).
